This Week I Learned
If the clubhead falls offduring the backswing, and you complete the swing but miss the ball, it does not count as a stroke. If the clubhead falls off during the downswing and you complete the swing but miss the ball, it counts as a stroke. [USGA decisions 14/2 and 14/3]
I had to read that twice to grasp the meaning fully. Thanks, USGA.

Honestly, I had no idea how FUNNY Bubba Watson is.

Correct Your Putting Grip

TL;DW
Keep Your Wrist SUPER Straight: Your wrists and putter shaft should form a straight line. Watch the start of the video to get a visual.
Squeeze a Ball: To ensure your wrist stays straight, pinch a ball between your putterās grip and the wrist of your trail hand. If the ball drops, you know youāve moved your hand in the backswing (and not just your shoulders, as you should).
I wasnāt aware that extending your wrists so much would have such a big impact. Even practicing this without a club made me realize the difference it could make. I went out to the putting green to try it, andš¤Æ what a difference! However, what Bryson does is insane. I couldn't get my arms and wrists as straight as that freak of nature and still hit any holes. Maybe you can?
